It's almost that time again...yes back to school we go, almost. Walking through the stores I see the pencils, binders and notebooks colorfully displayed. The book bags are hung and the piles of paper are stacked. The back to school shopping has begun. Parents are rushing to get those deals while their children are following behind with a not as enthusiastic look on their faces. September is creeping in.
I have already begun my trips back to school to learn about the fun new programs we have for this year. I am excited to get back. I miss my students' smiling faces! I have been busy pinning on Pinterest looking up fun new ideas for the computer lab. Each year brings new surprises and adventures. Summer has been fun and relaxing and I will certainly enjoy my August, but I look forward to trying new projects out with my always amazing students.

We will be exploring more of UClass this year in the older grades. I have been investigating ways to use groups throughout our classes, which I know you love. I hope to do more collaborative projects this upcoming year and use new tools that I have found on the internet.
I am really excited to share these new Web 2.0 apps. The classroom will look a little different when you come in, but the same Mrs. Noland will be there to greet you by the door. I know you must be enjoying your summer and I can't wait to hear all about it. Don't worry, we still have a month left before we must hop out of bed early again. Enjoy August and I look forward to seeing your shining faces in September!
